The App Launcher is now an integrated part of Chrome, so you can activate it by installing any Chrome app inside the browser, from Gmail to Plex. Add a new app to Chrome and the launcher should. The Chrome App Launcher allows you to launch your favorite apps right from the desktop. I started looking for a way to uninstall it when I clicked the start button there was the Chrome app launcher Icon pinned to the start menu made me even more angry. I can't figure out how to remove this stupid Chrome App launcher, that I didn't ask for, nor want it. I know removing the shortcuts doesn't remove the program only the shortcuts. I solved this problem. Boot your mac in the safe mode (Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold down the Shift key. Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple logo and progress indicator) after you can delete the clickshare launcher app. Don't forget to reboot after.
